Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis and Related Factors in Turkish Adult Population: A Striking Outcome of Cappadocia Chronic Diseases Epidemiological Study

Background: Recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS) is a common painful lesion affecting millions of people. This population-based epidemiological study aimed to determine the frequency recurrent in population and associated diseases factors.
 Methods: In 2013, by Turkish Society Internal Medicine, cohort for chronic related risk factors was initiated Central Anatolia Region Turkey (Cappadocia region). 90% whole adult included photos oral aphthae were used during questionnaire diseases.
